Elli de Mon is rezophonic guitar, drums, bells, voice and saturated sound: a real onewomanband. Strongly influenced by the primordial blues tradition (Bessie Smith, Fred Mc Dowell, Son House) as well as by the very first garage punk appeal, Elli's sound is shaped into a lysergic journey through her soul. Her six albums (Elli de Mon - Corpoc, Ammonia Records, 2014; II - Pitshark Records, 2015, Vs - Ammonia Records, 2016; Blues tapes: the indian sessions - Pitshark Records, 2017; Songs of mercy and Desire – Pitshark Records, 2018; VS Daily Thompson, Ammonia Records, 2020;) have been acclaimed by critics and audiences and allowed Elli to play hundreds of shows around Europe, sharing also the stage with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Devil Makes Three, Reverend Beatman, the Monsters, Molly Gene onewomanband, Chuck Ragan, Big John Bates, Cedric Burnside, the Daily Thompson and many others. In june 2021 the album Countin' the blues: Queens of the 20's came out, signed by Area Pirata Records. It follows the book with the same title, published by Arcana Editrice in 2020. In May 2023 the new album "Pagan Blues" will be released. This album explores darker atmospheres and sounds. A night journey through ancient worlds.
